Well held on both starts in maidens at this track in recent weeks, this filly drops back a furlong in trip having previously raced over a mile, but needs to show more than she's done so far to be involved in the finish.
Her price as a foal (€47,000) had increased to £62,000 as a yearling, but she showed signs of greeness on her debut (7f maiden fillies stakes) at Wolverhampton last month when 6L fourth of five to the Mark Johnston trained Blue Bahia (Rutherford second). Entitled to improve for that experience, but has 4L to find on Rutherford.
Fifth foal, and a £34,000 yearling by Harbour Watch out of a Primo Dominie mare (Dee Dee Girl). A half-sister to a number of winners which include Handsome Dude, and Northern sprint handicapper Noodles Blue Boy. Represents powerful owners, but her trainer is 0 from 16 at this track on the AW since May 2016.
Slowly away and soon struggling when finishing last of eight on her debut over 1m at Newcastle last week. Whilst this is a much weaker race, she'll need to have come on masses for that experience to figure over this 1F shorter trip.
Trainer boasts an impressive AW record at this track (15/77; 19%), and whilst this is slightly lower for his three-year-old's (5/36; 14%), this daughter of Dutch Art should go well on the strength of her recent return to the track (AW debut) at Wolverhampton. A 2L runner up to Blue Bahia, she would appear to hold Dusky Maid (fourth) on that evidence and is likely to make a bold bid to make all.

A maiden fillies contest which will not take too much winning. The 75-rated RUTHERFORD is clearly no world beater on what she's shown in four starts to date, but she has finished runner up on a couple of occasions, most notably on her recent AW debut at Wolverhampton (beaten favourite) last month. Her trainer boasts a decent strike rate at Newcastle, and she would appear to hold Dusky Maid on that evidence, and probably only has the debutant Harbour Siren to beat. The benchmark isn't too high for that filly to make a winning debut, but in light of her powerful owners (Qatar Racing), she'll most likely be over-bet and the value lies elsewhere.
