Placed in a couple of bumpers, including here for his previous yard but held over hurdles since including when third beaten 28L here on soft ground last time out. Likely to prefer better ground but interesting on handicap debut.
Had appeared to be regressing prior to finishing runner-up at Hereford in January but disappointed once more at Uttoxeter subsequently. Sole win came in a novice hurdle at Hexham in June and he would probably prefer better ground than is predicted here.
Winner of a handicap hurdle on heavy at Towcester last time out. That success was the first of his career having been beaten a neck at Ffos Las the time before and he looks the one to beat off a 4lb higher mark here.

PRESENT TIMES appears the contender best equipped to handle the predicted heavy ground and he can register his second career success in this small field handicap hurdle. The selection appears to have been well placed by his trainer and can get the better of Charmant and Wazowski who would both likely prefer quicker ground than they are set to encounter here.
