Tough filly who won at both Warwick (1m6f, soft) and then under a penalty at Wetherby (1m4½f, good to soft), before only just succumbing under her double penalty at the latter venue last time. Has to concede weight all around here, though may not have too many serious players to beat on her first try over this far.
£3,500 purchase who sees the racecourse for the first time here. Yard had few runners of late and this mare does not leap off the page in terms of pedigree, so best watched for now.
£15,000 buy. Trainer saddled a 25/1 shot to beat Shearling at Wetherby in January, so he will have a good handle on how this mare compares to that stablemate. He has managed to get some experience in to her too, improving for her Sedgefield debut to make the frame here next time. Market check advised.
Dam won a debut bumper, another under a penalty and four hurdles, achieving a ceiling rating of 117, though this, her sixth foal to race has failed to score just like the other five, showing nothing in bumpers at Carlisle and Musselburgh and one to take on again here.
Dam yet to produce a winner from several attempts and this mare failed to sell when last taken into the ring. Not too bad an effort on debut here in November, though couldn't build on that at Newcastle in January and a further watching brief advised.
Well beaten on debut at Doncaster in January when never getting competitive and hope to see more from her this time around.
23L behind Shearling at Wetherby in December and all but 25L lengths adrift of the same opponent when back there for her second start, she showed improvement for the step up to this trip last time at Ayr (soft), though clearly still needs significant improvement to be winning today.
As good as anything on pedigree, being by Shirocco (sire of Annie Power) out of the Cheltenham Festival Grade Two Mares' Hurdle winner Whiteoak and probably the most interesting runner in the field on her racecourse debut. Yard does well in this sphere and at the track and remains in good form.

Forecasts
Shearling (4/6), Whiteoak Stroller (7/2), It's All About Me (9/2), Floral Bouquet (16/1), Strands Of Velvet (20/1), Green Tikkana (20/1), Olivia Joan (33/1), Dudette (40/1), Katy Royal (250/1)
Having seen Shearling do wonderfully well in her three starts so far, they step her up in trip to see if she can find any extra and a third win is far from ruled out. Micky Hammond saddled the only runner to beat her and will have more idea than most about the respective merits of It's All About Me, while Olivia Joan could show more improvement and get involved. However, arguably the most interesting runner on the whole card is the last one listed, WHITEOAK STROLLER, who has a fabulous pedigree, represents and yard going well and has the four-year-old allowance to call upon and we will take her fitness on trust first time.
- Whiteoak Stroller
- Shearling
- Olivia Joan
