Winner of an Irish point-to-point last year and notched his first win under rules when the easy winner of a novices handicap chase at Leicester last week. Carries a penalty for that success but likely to prove hard to beat in this.
Narrow winner of a similar race to this over 2m1f at Plumpton on handicap debut back in January. Races off a 7lb higher mark here but should appreciate the underfoot conditions and yard have a 19% (5/27) strike rate of late.
Had just the three outings for this yard but well beaten on each occasion and pulled up last time out. Winner off a 22lb higher mark over hurdles but a bit to prove at present.
The first time tongue tie and cheekpieces seemed to work when successful over hurdles at Ffos Las in December but well beaten off this mark at Wincanton subsequently. Makes his chasing debut here.
Easily his best effort under rules when finishing fourth at Exeter last month in a hurdle over this trip. Has been dropped 2lb for that run and tackles fences for the first time here.

ARDMAYLE can follow up his Leicester success dropped in trip here. The likely ground conditions shouldn't inconvenience the selection and he showed improved form when ridden with more restraint than had been the case previously for that success. The selection hails from an in form yard with a 33% (2/6) strike rate in recent weeks and he can get the better of the well supported Chepstow runner-up What's Up Rory and Instingtive who is another to represent an in form yard.
