9/4
Fairyhouse winner in good style last month, the pick on ratings and that run suggests he's in good heart for this contest.
2
Horse silk
Folsom Bluep8
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-2| J: Rachael Blackmore(3)| T: M F Morris| OR:  127
4/1
Hasn't won a race since 2014 but has been running in far tougher company than this, should go well amongst veterans and have his chance.
3
Horse silk
Kilford8
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-0| J: L P Dempsey| T: L Whitmore| OR:  125
7/2
Won this contest a year ago and while he has been out of form since, this looks most realistic opportunity he's had to score again since.

Age: 12|  Weight: 10-12| J: C Brassil(7)| T: M S Sandra Hughes| OR:  123
9/2
Won at Punchestown in January and can be forgiven subsequent subpar effort back there in competitive 3m4f handicap chase. This is eminently more winnable.
5

Mtada Supreme27
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-2| J: Robbie Colgan| T: P Maher| OR:  113
10/1
Lightly raced for 12-years-old but just signs at Punchestown last month that things are catching up with him. Others make more appeal on form.
6

Some Dramap,t14
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-2| J: C D Maxwell| T: D A McLoughlin| OR:  113
5/1
Punchestown run behind Canaly in January gives him plenty to find if he's going to win this.

Forecasts

Texas Jack (9/4), Kilford (7/2), Folsom Blue (4/1), Canaly (9/2), Some Drama (5/1), Mtada Supreme (10/1)

Verdict

Last year's winner Kilford faces a tough challenge to score again amongst some rivals in good form. Canaly won well around Punchestown in January, form that sees him well ahead of Some Drama, and a repeat of that effort will stand him well now. Folsom Blue ought to find this more to his liking than some of the recent fields he has raced in but the manner of TEXAS JACK's Fairyhouse win last month strongly suggests he will cope with conceding weight to these four rivals and make a winning starts in veterans races.
  1. Texas Jack
  2. Canaly
  3. Folsom Blue
