Six-time winner on the AW although not looked in much form of late and refused to race last time out so one to be wary of. The hood is now tried for the first time.
Has a record of 0/4 over this C&D but has won over a shorter trip at this course. Run last time out can be excused as he was forced wide and unable to deliver an effective effort but the losing run continues to grow.
Fairly lightly raced on the AW and yet to won on synthetic surfaces with the last three runs all coming on Tapeta at Newcastle all over shorter. Tried back over further and has often looked as though this trip would be suitable (finishing effort can be weak).
Back from a break to win his first AW race last time out at Wolverhampton over 1m5f in a lower grade than this. Up 5lb for that win and up in grade/trip gives him more to do.
Yet to run over this course but is 2-4 on Polytrack having won her last two at Chelmsford over slightly shorter trips. Took a 10lb rise in her stride last time out and up a further 6lb here as she bids to complete a hat-trick.
Has won off a higher mark than this in the past but that victory came in weak race and he's only run respectably of late. Steps up in trip from a moderate fifth last time out and has looked to struggle over this far in the past.
Has looked a slightly quirky sort both on the Flat and over hurdles and needs very careful handling at the finish. Won on his penultimate start at Wolverhampton under today's rider but not in the same form last time out and always looks a tricky ride.
Forecasts
Lost The Moon (13/8), Tartan Bute (7/2), Castilo Del Diablo (4/1), Victoria Pollard (7/1), Royal Marskell (8/1), Scrafton (20/1), Aumerle (40/1)
A fairly disappointing bunch overall but LOST THE MOON, having won her last two starts, could well complete the hat-trick as she steps up in trip. Castilo Del Diablo has struggled in his runs here so far and that probably leaves Victoria Pollard and Tartan Bute as the most likely duo to chase home the selection.
