Too many jumping errors last time out and fell the time before so hardly looks a natural over fences and record over hurdles was patchy. Hard to fancy.
Former point-to-point winner who is on the upgrade recently and not beaten far at Doncaster last time. Trainer has a good record in Novice Limited Handicap Chases (21.89%, 37-169) and worthy of plenty of respect with this track set to suit and more improvement to come.
Running well recently and capped it off with a win at Doncaster last time. Won that well enough and similar conditions here so no obvious reason why he won't remain competitive from a 9lb higher rise. Yard have been amongst the winners in recent weeks.
Jumping has left plenty to be desired on all recent starts and yet to finish in three attempts this season. First-time cheekpieces need to make a big difference and hard to recommend until he shows signs of a return to form.
Point-to-point winner who enjoyed the step up in trip on final hurdles start but made plenty of jumping errors most recently on chase debut and questions to answer off the back of that. Wears first-time blinkers.
Been running particularly well in recent starts but now more than a stone higher than his Exeter win two starts back and yard aren't quite in the same form as the start of the year so may be one to take on.
Tailed off on all recent starts and interrupted career over the past year. Not looking like the horse he once was currently and not particularly well-handicapped even on best form so passed over for now.
Good winner at Bangor but will need more here. However, looks like he's on a very lenient mark based on some hurdles form so obvious claims if building on that effort.
Was running relatively well in point-to-points last year but not really taken to life under Rules and looks vulnerable off this mark.

BEHIND THE WIRE has an obvious chance after running well on his previous two starts and his trainer has a fine record in these races. Beggar's Cross has a rise to deal with but he's capable of dealing with that and the yard are in good form while Kilcullen Flem looks on a lenient mark based on his old hurdles form.
