C&D winner who also won on turf in 2016 and has run well on her last two starts. Did as well as could be expected last time out under unfavourable conditions at the weights against an odds-on favourite and will be better off back in handicap company.
Seven-time C&D winner who won this race last year by 1L off a mark of 70 and runs off a 5lb higher mark here. Now as high in the handicap as she has ever been and work to do with a couple of rivals although she is always dangerous with an easy lead around this track.
Looked to win with a bit up her sleeve last time when defeating First Experience and Skidby Mill with both that pair being better off at the weights. Unbeaten so far in two starts at Lingfield and very consistent on the AW recording form figures of 21211.
Recorded her first AW success last time out when winning a small field handicap over C&D defeating Skidby Mill having been beaten by the same filly on her previous run. Looked a little laboured on that occasion and no surprise to see the cheekpieces added to spark her up a little.
May provide some company upfront for Skidby Mill having badly needed the run last time out at Kempton Park over a mile. Has won on the AW but faces some in-form and race fit types in this handicap.
Has won three times on the Flat (turf) but seen just once on the AW. Recent Flat form is moderate and made very little impact over hurdles when back from a break recently.
Forecasts
Simply Me (1/1), First Experience (10/3), Remember Me (4/1), Skidby Mill (10/1), Rustique (12/1), Smart Mover (50/1)
A few here that go well over C&D and you would have to place Skidby Mill at the head of that list, although her mark is getting a little high now. SIMPLY ME has been in good form on the AW and still looks to have improvement left in her in a bid to add a fourth win on the AW to her record. Remember Me and First Experience also come into the equation with the former donning the cheekpieces in an effort to add some further zip.
1. Simply Me
2. Remember Me
3. Skidby Mill
