Knows how to win around here with seventh course wins under his belt a fortnight ago. That was over 6f and not certain he retains the pace to follow up over the minimum trip with 4lb rise.

Very consistent performer, C&D winner in August and last seen winning over this trip on turf at the Curragh in October. Not out of this if ready to roll on return.

Likes to be up on the pace, has four wins on the turf, though none at 5f, makes AW debut having been off since September. Market guides on first start since leaving Mick Channon.

Been running with great consistency in four C&D outings since December. 3lb higher than runner-up finish in January when just ahead of Strategic Force.

All three wins have come at 5f, including here in January when getting better of Strategic Force. No shame in close third behind Togoville last month over longer trip and suited now by these conditions.

First run for almost a year when seventh of nine over 6f here a fortnight ago, bit to find with some of these rivals on that running though should be fitter for it.

In really good form over C&D of late, including easy success in January. Headed close home later that month and, while 3lb higher again now, looks sure to be in the firing line.

Previous AW form is not inspiring and wasn't in great heart when last seen on turf in the autumn, will do well to land a blow in this.

Bounced right back to form when swooping late to beat Go Kart and Strategic Force over C&D in January, more on his plate with 5lb hike in what looks a very competitive race.

Forecasts

Danz Gift (4/1), Togoville (9/2), Oneoveryou (5/1), Go Kart (11/2), Primo Uomo (8/1), Strategic Force (10/1), Bluesbreaker (12/1), Shore Step (14/1), Chiclet (20/1), Rapid Applause (25/1)

Verdict

A case could be built for more than half the field in what looks a devilishly tough opening contest. Danz Gift floored a couple of these rivals in January in a blanket finish but is up in the weights for that and less consistent than some of his rivals. Strategic Force is a model of consistency and should be right there while Go Kart is also expected to go well as he has done on four recent runs over C&D. ONEOVERYOU remains lightly raced on the AW and showed herself to be in good heart over 6f recently so she gets the nod now back at her optimum trip in this tight affair. Togoville may find this trip on the sharp side while Primo Uomo is very much one to note off a break but AW debutant Shore Step would be dangerous if getting the lead though the former Mick Channon inmate has a wide draw to overcome. 1. Oneoveryou 2. Strategic Force 3. Go Kart
