Winner of his penultimate outing at Uttoxeter over 2m4f in November (the scene of his only other success) but beaten off this 7lb higher mark subsequently. Would likely prefer the ground softer than is forecast here but interesting with a leading jockey up.
Finished runner-up off a 3lb higher mark at Newbury in April but well held dropped in trip in four outings since including back over hurdles latest. Market support would be interesting but has a bit to prove currently.
Winner off this mark at Newcastle in December but well held on three most recent starts. Has won off a 5lb higher mark in the past and interesting with the forecast ground likely to suit here.
Lightly raced in recent years and only had seven outings since June 2011. Finished third on all three starts since return from his latest absence and as a result his handicap mark is now 13lb lower than for his latest success in November 2014. Wears first time tongue tie and cheekpieces here.
Convincing winner of a handicap chasek at Sedgefield on heavy ground last week and effectively 7lb well in given he's due to go up 14lb in the future. Likely to be racing on better ground here but looks the one to beat on the evidence of that most recent effort.
Been in poor form of late and pulled up on debut for this yard (with this jockey up) at Ludlow a month ago. Well in on his old form but appears to be a risky proposition at the moment.

A number of these have won off higher marks in the past but it's GROOMED who gets the nod here off a mark he won off back in December. The selection's trainer has been in good form of late with 20% of her recent runners proving victorious and he can get the better of the penalised Banny's Lad who proved successful last week while Tiquer can follow up January's third placed finish by occupying the same position here.
