Useful Flat handicapper and successful in a novice hurdle at Kelso four starts back. Well beaten in couple of starts subsequently prior to running well to be second to an odds-on favourite at Kelso last time out and predicted better ground here should suit.
Useful performer on the Flat but very disappointing on hurdles debut at Market Rasen three months ago. Jumping wasn't the best on that occasion and remains an interesting recruit to hurdling.
Best effort so far came when third in a bumper at Bangor in December 2015 but well beaten in all three starts since including over hurdles the last twice and best watched at present.
Bumper winner in 2015 and highly tried in that sphere subsequently. Promising debut over hurdles when runner-up at Plumpton in November though well beaten at Exeter subsequently. Return to forecast better ground may suit here and has a decent conditional booked here.
Well held on first two outings including over hurdles last time out and can only be watched at present.
Winner of a selling race on the Flat but well beaten at 200/1 on debut for this yard over hurdles two months ago and likely best watched for the time being.
Placed on the Flat for this stable but absent for two years prior to finishing well beaten twice over 1m4f in October and November. Pulled up on hurdling debut and well held fifth here subsequently. Likely to fair better in time.
Promising debut for previous yard when runner-up in a bumper here in March 2016 and twice ran well when placed over hurdles including here in January and likely to prove hard to beat in this.
Forecasts
Wenyerreadyfreddie (1/2), Jam Session (3/1), Lycidas (9/2), Blue Hussar (11/1), Classic Tune (33/1), Star Of Namibia (50/1), Samsonite (66/1), Ruby Who (66/1)
WENYERREADYFREDDIE has acquitted himself well in two hurdles outings to date and this looks a nice opportunity for him to get off the mark following two placings over obstacles. Chief rival Lycidas has disappointed in the past and carries a penalty for a previous success in this sphere but looks likely to prove best of the remainder while Jam Session can claim third here following a couple of promising efforts over hurdles already this season.
1. Wenyerreadyfreddie
2. Lycidas
3. Jam Session
