Still held chances when falling two from home at Newbury in December but well beaten at Taunton a month ago. Placed off a 2lb higher mark over hurdles in April 2016 and chances if back to that form here.
Winner at Cartmel on his debut for this yard in August but disappointed the last twice including in first time blinkers at Leicester in December. Current mark remains 9lb higher than for his latest success and more is needed here.
Finished runner-up at Ludlow over 2m4f last time out a month ago. Has been raised 1lb for that effort and best efforts have come over shorter than today's 2m7f trip (well held over 3m over hurdles).
Pulled up on chasing debut over this C&D in November but has put in some solid efforts over hurdles in the past including when third off this mark at Sandown earlier that month. Returns from a break here.
Winner at Doncaster off a 6lb lower mark in January. Previously finished runner-up at the same track the previous month. Stays well and yard in good form recently with a 22% strike rate (5/23) in the last fortnight and likely to prove hard to beat here.
Ran well at Wetherby on his penultimate outing in January but disappointing at Leicester subsequently. Steps up in trip here with sole hurdles outing over this trip resulting in him finishing mid-division but an interesting contender if repeating that Wetherby effort.
Forecasts
Pull The Chord (7/4), Sir Ivan (11/4), Fort Worth (7/2), Earthmoves (7/1), Huff And Puff (9/1), Father Edward (25/1)
FORT WORTH can follow up his Doncaster success off this 6lb higher mark down a furlong in trip here. The selection had finished in the frame at the same track the time before and represents an in form yard and can get the better of Sir Ivan who carries top weight in this contest and Earthmoves who's top trainer should have him fit for his return from a break here.
1. Fort Worth
2. Sir Ivan
3. Earthmoves
