Scored twice from 12 chase starts although the losing run is starting to stack up after he was beaten at Wincanton last time out. The first-time blinkers added to the tongue-tie are retained this time around and things may just be a little easier now as he takes a drop in grade.
Winning chaser but can be a rather quirky sort and ran well below form last time out at Kempton Park. Blinkers go on for the first time here in a bid to provide some spark (usually wears cheekpieces).
Can be a little in-and-out as a chaser but came back to form last time out when winning at Leicester by 14L. That win came off what was a falling mark and the handicapper has pushed him back up to a mark that he was struggling off previously.
Was at one time a decent handicap chaser but back from a long absence he showed little last time out when pulled-up and still without the usual headgear.
This probably boils down to a head-to-head between ORBASA and Ballinvarrig with the former getting the nod on account of the drop in grade. Uhlan Bute is likely to be outclassed by those two especially in light of his poor run at Kempton Park at the weekend.
1. Orbasa
2. Ballinvarrig
3. Uhlan Bute
