Rounded off last year in good heart but has failed to replicate the form lately. Looks as if the handicapper has his measure just for the time being. Still, he has ability and the fitting of a visor may bring about some improvement, so a close monitoring of the betting required.
Likes to get his toe in but has been struggling to get home of late. The predicted ground ought to help, so one to consider. Even so, he isn't noted for reliability and needs a little luck on his side. Not without a chance but for the very brave for win only purposes.
Well handicapped on the best of his efforts in his distant past, but his latest efforts over fences leave a good bit to be desired. He looks to need assistance from the assessor, even in this lowly grade, before his case can be strengthened.
Readily brushed aside once he lost the lead at Hereford last time out and, while he has solid claims on the pick of his form, he needs to quickly banish the memory of that moderate effort.
Should like the predicted ground conditions; especially if the rains arrive. However, his recent form has been way below his best and he cannot be forwarded as anything more than a speculative option.
A modest handicapper but her claims have been boosted by a couple of solid performances. She is only 2lb above her recent winning mark at Fakenham, so has a fair chance on these terms; especially as the slight step up in trip, combined with a little juice in the ground, will do her no harm whatsoever.
Won a very modest race from out of the handicap last time and while he has to be respected on that effort, his overall profile does little to suggest that he is capable of following up on these terms. Opposable on balance.
Has done the rounds from point-to-points and bumpers, through to hurdles and fences; all to no avail so far. Difficult to see him being involved in the thick of the action from so far out of the weights.
Forecasts
Miss Oscarose (2/1), Midnight Mustang (7/2), Jamrham (5/1), Very Live (8/1), Finnegan's Garden (10/1), High Aspirations (10/1), Goring Two (16/1), Proud Times (20/1)
A modest race that can go the way of MISS OSCAROSE, who has put together a couple of decent efforts and, as this isn't a much tougher assignments, she edges the nomination ahead of Jamrham, who is better than he showed last time out but still has a little to prove. Very Live is likely to have the ground to his liking and may be good value for one that can spoil the party.
1. Miss Oscarose
2. Jamrham
3. Very Live
