Respectable effort on second outing at Bath last September probably the most eye-catching piece of form in the race but winner has subsequently finished unplaced twice off marks in the low 80's. Should be thereabouts if ready to go after an absence.
Trainer does well with his younger horses but this one yet to get his act together. The form of his latest effort at Newcastle has taken a few knocks when 9/1 fourth of 10 and he looks vulnerable from a win perspective.
Respectable debut at Yarmouth when fourth back in October and should improve on return from a short absence. Trainer has a good strike-rate at this course (17.9%) and he makes more appeal than plenty in here.
Cost 70,000 gns as a foal. Good fourth in a maiden here on debut but showed very little on first start for this yard and likely to be more effective in handicaps after this race.
Didn't tear up any trees on his Lingfield debut earlier in the month (1m). Should come on for that run but will need to have learned plenty to get involved here.
Sole filly in the line-up who never got involved on Kempton debut earlier in the month. Sure to come on for that and trainer has a respectable record with his three-year-olds. Any market support would be interesting.

Atkinson Grimshaw (5/4), Blushing Red (6/4), Avantgardist (9/2), Born Legend (9/2), Born To Reason (20/1), Swallow Dancer (50/1), Mount Cleshar (50/1), Mister Raffles (100/1)
A very moderate affair which won't take too much winning, and it could pay to be with ATKINSON GRIMSHAW. The colt showed the value of his initial outing when third to a more experienced rival in Spring Jig at Bath and that level of form may be good enough. Born Legend showed he had benefited from his two previous runs when third at Lingfield but will need to prove he's as effective back here while Blushing Red should come on for his debut run and has a good strike-rate at this course.
1. Atkinson Grimshaw
2. Born Legend
3. Blushing Red
