Mightly impressive when a well-backed winner at Newcastle last time and cost 200,000 gns as a yearling. Proven on the surface and tough to beat off a fair looking mark.
Sold after leaving John Gosden's stable after a maiden win at Lingfield. Not related to any winners but his debut performance shouldn't be underestimated as he was hampered on his way through and quickened well off a slow pace.
Attempting to land a hat-trick here but this looks his biggest test to date and some of his rivals are far less exposed. Should win more races but may struggle in this.
Improved for the switch to handicaps and won both her handicap starts well but 5lb rise demands more against some classy looking rivals. Should make a bold bid from the front.
Forecasts
Shamrokh (11/8), Poetic Force (11/4), Cyrus Dallin (10/3), Spinwheel (5/1)
SHAMROKH could be hard to beat and is proven on this surface after a win on his second start at Newcastle. His opening mark looks fair based on that result but he wouldn't want to get into a likely battle with the Mark Johnson front-runner Spinwheel who will be tough to pass. Cyrus Dallin should continue his progress on first start for this yard after leaving John Gosden's stable.
1. Shamrokh
2. Cyrus Dallin
3. Spinwheel
