Last year's winning trainer/jockey combination have leading claims again in the form of PLEASANT COMPANY, he ran a perfectly acceptable race coming off a break at Gowran Park in the Thyestes and can make a bold bid for this. Baie Des Iles won well from the front over a longer trip at Punchestown recently and it wouldn't pay for the others to grant him a soft advantage here. Lord Windermere hasn't won since his golden afternoon at Cheltenham but his Thurles run in November hinted there might be another race in him somewhere, while Roi Des Francs faces a stiff task in conceding weight to all concerned.
