Winner of a bumper two years ago but has been disappointing since and fell early on when making his chasing debut at Towcester just over a week ago and interesting to see how he fares on his second outing over fences.
Registered two victories over fences at Warwick and Worcester last year but well held in five starts since and pulled up back at Warwick on his most recent start. Now 2lb lower than for his most recent success and returns from a near three month break here.
Point-to-point winner in 2013 and running well in similar races to this in the main in recent outings. Returned from a break to finish runner-up in a small field at Towcester earlier this month and interesting to see how he fares here.
Under pressure from an early stage at Southwell when pulled up in July. Rated just 3lb higher than for his latest success but had just two outings in 2016 and makes his return from over seven months off here.
Less exposed than most under rules but well beaten behind classy rivals in three novice chases and cut little ice in point-to-point's last year and in two starts in Ireland prior to that. Making his handicap debut in a first time tongue tie here.
Pulled up on his most recent outing at Hereford earlier this month having finished third off a 1lb higher mark than he's off today at this track the time before. Hard to win with but very easy to see him running well on forecast ground that he should appreciate.
Experienced veteran who's been out of form recently and pulled up at Fontwell at the end of last month. Takes a drop back down in trip here but racing from out of the handicap here as has been the case the last twice.

Forecasts
What's Up Rory (5/2), Deise Vu (3/1), Edeiff's Lad (9/2), Modeligo (5/1), Wabanaki (11/2), Ma'ire Rua (6/1), Going Nowhere Fast (20/1), Dancing Dik (50/1)
EDEIFF'S LAD had been running well prior to disappointing last time out and wasn't beaten far when finishing third here a month ago. The selection has solid form on soft ground and finished runner-up off this mark and slightly shorter than today's trip at Wincanton in December and while his wins/runs record of 1/19 isn't the best he looks more reliable than most in here. Deise Vu has yet to win in 12 attempts under rules but put a poor run on his penultimate start behind him last time out and can claim second while What's Up Rory has kept good company in three novice chase runs and can claim third on his handicap debut.
1. Edeiff's Lad
2. Deise Vu
3. What's Up Rory
