Cost €10,000 in 2014 and was withdrawn from the sales last August, having won a bumper at Worcester on her debut in June. Top stable in its usual consistent form at present and is 26% in this sphere, so he chance is respected even under the penalty.

Got the hang of things late on when making her debut at Southwell (soft) last month, finishing runner-up to a Nicky Henderson-trained gelding, so that trainer should have a good idea where she stands in relation to his mare in this. Likely to improve for that (was an unfancied 25/1 chance).

Last of 14 and beaten a mile on her debut for Charlie Longsdon last May and has now switched yards. New stable in good form and has a 20% bumper strike rate, so with the tongue strap on she might give a more encouraging performance this time. Market check very much advised.

Failed to attract a buyer as a yearling and made her debut at Huntingdon earlier this month, running plenty green enough, making her 9L fifth a moderately encouraging effort. Can build on that today.
A relatively rare runner in this sphere for her trainer, who has had three winners in this sphere from 15 runners in the past five seasons. Stamina in the pedigree of this debutante and interesting if support for her.

Bought for £14,000 as a three-year-old. Improved a little for her Ffos Las debut when third of 15 at Bangor (soft) in December and will need to do the same again if she is to break her duck this time. Likely to do better over further.
Cost £22,000 last year and represents a yard that is among the winners and has had four bumper winners this season at a strike rate of 17% (overall strike rate is 16% in past five seasons). Dam won three hurdles in France on testing ground, while sire also scored on heavy, though both had to wait until their second runs to do so. Should improve for this, but may still prove good enough.
Not a bad jumps pedigree and an unfancied 100/1 outsider when ninth of 14 on her debut here (soft) last month. Will need a heap of improvement to come good this time.

Forecasts

Turn Turk (9/4), Diva Reconce (11/4), Royal Claret (4/1), Dame Rose (9/2), Grey Warbler (5/1), Potters Angelique (14/1), Lerichi Belle (20/1), Kiyana (20/1), Flow From Devon (33/1), Macca's Stowaway (66/1)

Verdict

Turn Turk is likely to be better than most here but does have to concede weight all around, while Dame Rose will find it tricky to defy her penalty in what is likely to be more testing ground. Potters Angelique is one to note in the market, as is DIVA RECONCE who, without that prior knowledge, could run a big race here first time out for a stable that is on song. 1. Diva Reconce 2. Turn Turk 3. Potters Angelique
