Having his first run since being gelded when finishing third at Wolverhampton over a mile last time out. Had been attempting to follow up a Newcastle success off a 6lb lower mark when disappointingly finishing last of 13 the time before but every chance he can run well here if handling the step up in trip (won his maiden over 1m1f in May 2016).
Having his first run for his latest trainer having disappointed when failing to beat a rival home in an eight runner event at Lingfield early last month. That marked his first run since a fifth on soft ground at Nottingham in mid-October. Blinkers that he's been wearing of late are left off today.
Won over C&D off a 7lb lower mark on his penultimate start in November but disappointed here off this mark since. Had the profile of a consistent horse prior to that with six placings from nine career outings and likely to run well on his first start in over two months here.
Surprise winner over C&D earlier this month on his first outing since August. Has been upped 5lb for that success and has disappointed twice on turf off this mark (also placed off 1lb lower) and interesting to see how he fares in this.
Veteran performer who wasn't beaten far on his debut for this stable in finishing third over C&D last week. Had finished second off a 3lb lower mark the time before that and while his last AW win came over two years ago there's every chance of him performing well again here.
Moved yards since latest run over 13 months ago at Southwell. Was a beaten favourite for a 1m4f claimer on that occasion having won a similar event over 1m3f the time before. All five victories on the Flat have come over further with only his maiden success over six years ago coming away from the fibresand of Southwell.
Won seven times here in the past but well held on his latest outing here over C&D two weeks ago. Had run respectably on his previous three starts for this trainer (including when fourth & fifth off a 2lb higher mark here) and interesting to see if he can bounce back here.
Impressive winner of her penultimate start in maiden company when coming home clear of her three rivals at Brighton in April. Disappointed on handicap debut at Salisbury when last seen out in mid-May and interesting to see how she fares on her return from an absence here.

AMAZEMENT finished close up off this mark on his latest outing at Kempton earlier this month and can follow that solid effort up by taking this competitive looking event. The selection represents a trainer/jockey combination with an 18% strike rate (49/265) on the AW in recent years and he looks open to more improvement than most in this contest. Nonios is returning from a break here having finished well beaten over C&D last time out but he takes a drop in class here and can claim second while Count Montecristo, a surprise winner here last time out can claim third.
