Experienced Flat runner won a couple of modest races last summer, joined this trainer and completely tailed off on recent jumps debut at Naas.

Fairly useful on the Flat for Jim Culloty, settled for second in 25 runner Fairyhouse event on hurdles bow. Decent start and should have more to offer.

Fairly useful sort on the Flat in Europe and should benefit from first spin over hurdles when finishing midfield at Thurles last month.

Improved effort last month at Punchestown to be third of 21 over two-miles. Had previously disappointed on debut at Limerick, may be more to come.
Newcomer, yard has endured a lean spell of things and would want to see home market support before getting involved.

First start over timber at Leopardstown a month ago, lacked a great deal of promise and one to watch for now.
All runs under rules and in point-to-points have been disappointing, including recent return to action at Naas. Impossible to fancy.

Made jumps debut at Naas this month, weakening from three out having been no better than midfield for much of the journey.
Newcomer in familiar colours needs a second look in the market despite trainers recent form being less than inspiring.

Little bit better at Fairyhouse this month, still has work to do after three outings over timber if going to snare one of these.

Horse silk

Some promise shown in two starts over flights, certainly not without hope but must iron out the mistakes over the obstacles to get competitive.
12

Modest form in three of these to date, no suggestion a breakthrough is imminent.

Recent jumping debut at Naas was pleasing enough, faded late on having moved up to contend. Should have more to offer.
14

Has been a disappointment in bumpers and over hurdles to date, latest at Fairyhouse earlier this month offering little in the way of encouragement.

Mare makes racecourse debut for a trainer not blessed with many winners, jockey bookings suggest second choice of McManus pair.
18
Horse silk
100/1
Didn't make any great impression first start under rules at Thurles earlier in the month, likely to have a very minor role again.

Last seen tailed off at Wexford in October, first of the reserves in this field.

Verdict

KNOCKMAOLE BOY was a decent sort on the Flat and his runner-up finish on jumping bow at Fairyhouse reads well enough in this context to suggest he's got leading claims of going one better. He jumped well on that occasion and should be on the premises this time. Agent Boru left his hurdling debut behind with a good showing over this C&D recently and should have more to offer while Mr Showtime is another heading the right way. Of the newcomers, any market support behind Beginningtogetup would be worth noting. 1. Knockmaole Boy 2. Agent Boru 3. Mr Showtime
