Won over this C&D around this time last year, somewhat below form when last seen at Limerick in early December. Tough enough ask off current rating.
Switches to hurdles on first start for new yard. Extremely likely he's going to need some confidence-building having fallen twice over fences last month.
Easy winner over fences at this kind of trip at Down Royal penultimate start, turned out quickly again at Fairyhouse and fell when still in contention over longer trip. Big contender back down in trip and switched to hurdles.
Won over C&D last March on what is likely to prove similar ground to what he'll encounter here. Isn't the most consistent performer but would be dangerous to write him off racing off just 1lb higher than previous course win.
Smart bumper performer in the UK, proved less reliable once sent jumping for previous trainer Alan King. Has talent, first start for this yard and been off the track for nine months. Market check warranted.
Hasn't produced a winning run since October 2013, a nine-race sequence that included layoffs and trip to point-to-points. Recent hurdles form less than inspiring.
A 16-race maiden over hurdles, did win on the Flat last backend. Most recent run at Naas last month was below par but previous efforts are respectable.
Last run over hurdles came in December 2015 and was a credible third of 13 off mark of 101. Been on the Flat since and off track since September but not out of this by any means.
Three runs in maiden hurdles haven't been screaming of ability but still pays to have a check in the market ahead of handicap bow with potential for plenty more to come.
Another making handicap hurdle debut this afternoon, showed some glimpses in maidens but needs to brush up on jumping a little to be competitive.
Three years since previous C&D win, is now 9lb lower than that mark but hasn't won in a dozen attempts since. Comeback at Down Royal over Christmas was fair effort, not totally written off

Forecasts
Holeinthewall Bar (2/1), Admiral Brian (4/1), Peculiar Genius (5/1), Lilshane (11/2), Court Jester (9/1), Crehelp (10/1), Palmabad (10/1), Tabhachtach (12/1), Caridadi (14/1), Mandarin Monarch (16/1), Kick On Boss (16/1), Snugsborough Hall (16/1), Theturnofthesun (20/1), Miles To Memphis (25/1)
Peculiar Genius scored at Tramore on his penultimate start and should feature again having weakened at the final flight since. HOLEINTHEWALLBAR was a facile winner at this trip over fences at Down Royal last month. He fell at Fairyhouse when attempting a quick follow up but should hold every chance now going over hurdles and back down in trip; from a nice mark he looks to have excellent claims. Lilshane is not exactly reliable but the previous C&D winner would be a serious contender on a going day while Theturnofthesun is also respected on previous hurdles form. Crehelp and Mandarin Monarch are handicap debutants worth a check in the betting for confidence.
