Well beaten in three outings since a surprise winner of a handicap chase at Bangor last March. Back down to a mark just 2lb higher than for that success and should appreciate likely underfoot conditions.
Finished runner-up off a 1lb higher mark here on his penultimate outing over 2m5.5f last month. Disappointed subsequently at Doncaster but was a dual winner off much higher marks than he races off here when hurdling.
Winner over 2m4f at Musselburgh last time out. Had previously finished runner-up on soft ground at Lingfield and while he races off a 3lb higher mark than for that last time out triumph he could go well once more.
C&D winner here when staying on strongly late on in early December but well beaten in two outings at Ayr subsequently. Raced from 8lb out of the handicap for the most recent of those defeats but can't be ruled out here despite being 1lb "wrong" at the weights once more.
Forecasts
Fields of Glory (11/8), Make Me A Fortune (2/1), Asuncion (4/1), Little Jimmy (15/2)
This return to the likely softer ground can bring about a ninth career victory for the top weight LITTLE JIMMY. The selection has been out of form recently but his last two successes have come on ground with plenty of cut in it and he's likely to experience that here with a leading jockey booked to ride also. Fields Of Glory was victorious last time out and off his revised mark remains the chief rival to the selection while Make Me A Fortune can put a poor run at Doncaster behind him by claiming third at the expense of Asuncion who won here earlier this season.
1. Little Jimmy
2. Fields of Glory
3. Make Me A Fortune
