Runner-up at Haydock on his penultimate start but didn't seem to see out the 2m4f at Uttoxeter subsequently. Drop back in trip should suit here but off a 4lb higher mark than for that Haydock placing and likely more needed here.
Winner in France and successful on his debut for this yard over C&D last April. Disappointed twice this season and racing off just a 1lb lower mark than when beaten at Cheltenham last month. This looks less competitive however.
Winner of a maiden hurdle and a novice event back in September. Disappointed in his return to handicaps subsequently and well held on his return from a break on the flat at Newcastle last month. Yard have a 19% strike rate (27/144) here so interesting to see how he fares.
Justified odds-on favouritism when victorious at Ayr in October. Well beaten in novice events since including in a hot Grade 2 event last time out and makes his handicap debut here for a trainer & jockey combination who have a 20% strike rate when teaming up.
Still travelling well when coming to grief three from home at Musselburgh last month. Had previously finished runner-up at Kelso on his handicap debut and he looks likely to go well for a yard that's in good form at present (7/18 in recent weeks).
Disappointed the last twice including in first time blinkers on penultimate start. Usual cheekpieces returned for most recent outing in a claiming hurdle but he again finished well beaten. Placed off a 7lb higher mark back in August but a bit to prove at present.
Winner on the Flat in France and shown plenty of ability in all hurdles outings to date, Justified odds-on favouritism at Ludlow last month having fallen when holding a decent chance at Musselburgh the time before. interesting she tackles handicaps for a yard who's horses are running well at present.
Winner at Wetherby last time out on his third attempt over hurdles, the third and fourth have both won subsequently and it will be interesting to see how he fares on his first start in a handicap.

CAIUS MARCIUS is a consistent sort who's finished in the first two in five of his eight career outings to date. The selection was still going well unseating his rider last time out at Musselburgh and had placed off a 1lb lower mark on his handicap debut at Kelso previously. He represents a yard that are in good form at present (7/18 recently) and can claim a fourth career victory here at the chief expense of Castafiore who is another representing an in form yard while Master Of Finance, highly tried last time out can claim third.
