Dual course winner who produced a career best last time out when winning here over 1m5f off a 5lb lower mark. Certainly got the run of the race last time out and not certain to find circumstances so favourable this time around over a furlong shorter.
Only AW win came over 2m at this course and likely to have needed the run at Wolverhampton last time out when coming back from a break. Often likes to race prominently and this run will probably tell us more about his well being.
Showed some ability in maidens but failed to back that up in handicaps and his mark continues to fall.
Has won over hurdles but still a maiden on the Flat, usually racing well off the pace and looked none too keen last time out over a furlong further.
Consistent handicapper at this level although he still does only have one win to his name from 42 starts. Work to do with Grand Facile on their last run but that one did get first run on him.
In good form of late and won at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start. Followed that up last time out at Kempton Park with a good second. In better form than most here and still off a winnable mark over a trip that should suit and with a top AW pilot booked.
Just a modest sort these days and has disappointed on a few occasions since his last win. Capable of winning off this mark but latest runs suggest he has plenty to prove.
Won his first race at Kempton Park on his most recent start and showed improved form in doing so. Raced close to a strong pace and did well to win in the circumstances and that form could well prove better than it looks.
Only modest and all her winning form has come in Jersey. Has been hurdling of late.
Losing run is starting to stack up and steps up in trip here after just a creditable run last time out at Wolverhampton.
Very lightly raced sort and only run twice since his last win in August 2014. Well beaten last time out in a Bath handicap over 1m5f and may find this tough against some race fit rivals.
No wins on his record since 2013 and went off far too hard last time out when well beaten at Kempton Park in a race that saw Smiley Bagel successful.
Forecasts
Smiley Bagel (9/4), Frivolous Prince (5/2), Grand Facile (7/1), Dynamo (7/1), Santadelacruze (11/1), Cahar Fad (14/1), The Detainee (16/1), Salient (20/1), Galuppi (25/1), Understory (33/1), Hawaiian Freeze (66/1), Soundbyte (66/1)
A modest end to the card with a low-grade staying handicap contested by plenty that have found it hard to win and are on long losing runs. One that has been in good consistent form of late though is FRIVOLOUS PRINCE who arrives in good form and Adam Kirby takes the ride. Smiley Bagel is worth considering as he did well to win last time out off a contested pace but may but may not have it all his own way here with Grand Facile likely to challenge him for the lead. Santadelacruze is hardly a winning machine but could pick up the pieces if the leaders go off too hard but his overall record makes him one to be wary of for win purposes.
1. Frivolous Prince
2. Smiley Bagel
3. Santadelacruze
