Verdict

There was a lot to like about the way Pickett's Charge scored over C&D last month and the ensuing 5lb rise shouldn't prevent another strong effort but preference is for fellow recent C&D scorer WORLDS HIS OYSTER. John Quinn's charge was having his first start since being gelded when staying on strongly to repel the challenge of Mariee (runs in the 4.25), taking his form to another level in the process, and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him in his current mood.
