Well named as she's not the biggest, but remains in tremendous form with another victory at Huntingdon last week, winning with a bit in hand. Switches back to hurdles here to take advantage of the same mark as that win, and as she's just as effective over the smaller obstacles, no reason to think she won't go close again.

Promise for Henry De Bromhead in three maiden hurdles in Ireland, despite getting beaten at odds-on in the second of them, but looks harshly treated on handicap debut for new yard today, given the winner of his latest race was beaten off a mark of 111 next time. Big step up in trip as well and looks best watched unless market suggests otherwise.

Been very consistent since joining current yard last October, being placed on all four runs, and almost nabbed one at Huntingdon in December, just getting run out of it late after leading at the last. The question today is the step up in trip, which he doesn't appear to need on what he's shown, but he may get away with it on this tight track.

Definite signs of promise at big prices in three novice hurdles this winter, and did well enough on his handicap debut at Catterick in January to think there would be races to be won with him. Worth a try at this trip given he was staying on late in the day at Catterick, although half brother Acertain Circus was best around two and a half miles. Not discounted, especially as local trainer does well here.

Didn't show much in three novice hurdles but that didn't stop punters piling into him on his handicap debut at Lingfield, going off a well backed 2-1 favourite, and he duly ran a much better race, travelling well throughout and only going down by a length and a half after making a mistake two out. Steps up in trip here, which may suit on breeding, and jockey is a significant booking.

Only glimmers of ability in novice hurdles to date, running on late at Plumpton last time to finish in midfield (over 2m) and goes handicapping on a low mark, but this big step up in trip needs to bring about major improvement for him and trainer not known for first time handicap winners.

Been on a downward spiral for almost a year now, although occasionally is well backed, as he was at Doncaster last time but again showed little, finishing weakly after leading and pulled up before the last. Cheekpieces are fitted today, which may help, and gut feeling is that there's some ability there, but can't be recommended unless the market suggests otherwise.

Forecasts

Petite Power (9/4), Movie Legend (5/2), Popelys Gull (9/2), Barney From Tyanee (6/1), Improved (10/1), D'nailor (12/1), Quincy Magoo (25/1), Killarney Lakes (25/1)

Verdict

There's no reason why PETITE POWER can't continue her good run of form, as she's got ideal conditions again and the switch to hurdles means she goes off the same mark as her Huntingdon win last week. The main danger could be Barney From Tyanee who improved for the switch to handicaps and looked the winner at Lingfield until a bad mistake cost him his chance. This step up in trip should suit. They are much of a muchness for third, but perhaps the consistent Movie Legend can get in the money again. Improved hasn't shown much but any money for him should be noted. 1. Petite Power 2. Barney From Tyanee 3. Movie Legend
