Is a five-time C&D winner but most recent of those came in March 2015, should be fitter for comeback run last month.

Upped in trip and drops 2lb in ratings after fair effort at this track a month ago but isn't the most reliable of sorts.

Showed some promise on first AW run a month ago over C&D, jockey booking is interesting this time out and worth a look in the market.

Has found sprints happening all too quickly in two starts at the track lately, upped to the mile now he might do better.

Pair of promising runs last month over 7f at this venue make him one of the more likeable sorts in this field now upped to the mile.

Has run well on occasion around this track since joining current trainer but yet to win a race in his career and that stat tapers any confidence.

Outran his odds of 50/1 in December C&D appearance when fifth of 14, beaten less than five-lengths. Hard to know if he will run similarly however.

Twice ran over 7f here last month coming off a long absence, not completely without promise but needs to find something more for step up to a mile.

Close-up second over C&D in apprentice contest in October would give him a chance, but efforts before and after offer much less encouragement. Back up in trip this time.

Long-standing maiden now but didn't run badly over 1m2f at this track seven days ago, drops in trip and can't be totally overlooked.

Forecasts

No Way Jack (9/4), Ligeti (5/2), The Dancing Lord (6/1), Free State (7/1), Hasselnott (7/1), Society Ranger (8/1), Cosmic Symbol (8/1), Voyageofdiscovery (10/1), Malicious Intent (12/1), Roter Baron (20/1), Broderick Falls (20/1), Sartori (25/1), Annagassan (33/1), Appease (33/1), Slaney River Run (50/1)

Verdict

Voyageofdiscovery put in a good effort on his most recent visit but is by no means a certainty to replicate that run, Sartori meanwhile should find the pace of this race easier to handle early in the piece and might be competitive. Ligeti made good late progress last time from an unpromising position and has an excellent jockey booking to lend support to the theory that he can do much better in this off the same rating but the vote goes to NO WAY JACK who posted two notable runs over 7f last month and should have a big role to play upped in distance. He had to weave through traffic last time and was short of room again in the closing stages. With a handy claim on his back, he should take plenty beating with even luck in this. 1. No Way Jack 2. Ligeti 3. Sartori
