Just run in two bumpers so far nearly a year apart and shown useful form in both. Won at Ayr in December from a subsequent winner in Sam's Adventure and looked a useful sort on that occasion.
Well found in the market when winning on his debut at Wetherby by five lengths. Travelled well on that occasion and beat a next time out winner, so the form looks strong and there's a fair chance that he still has some improvement in him.
Brother to four winners including the fairly useful hurdler Octagon. Yard have never had a bumper winner on debut though and are 0/5 with their debutantes at Kelso.
Cost £10,000 as a three-year-old and a half-sister to the bumper winner and hurdle winner Princess Roania. Yard are yet to have a bumper winner this season and she faces a tough debut here.
Forecasts
Better Getalong (1/4), Some Reign (3/1), The Delray Munky (25/1), Western Lass (50/1), Lastin' Memories (66/1), Olivia Joan (80/1)
The penalised runners have much the best form here and it’s hard to see the other quartet getting much of a look in against BETTER GETALONG and Some Reign. The former just gets the verdict on account of his Ayr win which, given the exploits of the second, looks very solid form. Of the others the Iain Jardine runner The Delray Munkay looks to have the best chance of filling out the places.
