Makes AW debut but better over obstacles than on the Flat and would probably prefer an extreme test of stamina (2m+) in this sphere.
Unplaced on last nine starts and tailed off on several of those efforts. Starts life for a new yard now but seems likely to come on for the run.
Never got involved at Southwell last time and not won on the Flat since September 2014. Yet to win on the AW and still only 2lb below his last winning mark in this sphere so looks set to struggle again.
Yet to win on the AW and took a backwards step on third start for this yard last time. Needs to shake off her inconsistent profile and sole win came over shorter than this so still has questions to answer.
Still a maiden after 20 starts but recorded his best effort to date around here two starts back. Ran okay last time too when just finishing out of the places at Lingfield so certainly signs he's getting the hang of things and claimer probably worth his 5lb claim in this company so he's no forlorn hope.
Been out of form of late but he gives the impression he prefers this kind of trip to the extended mile tried last time. Still early days for this yard but his trainer has a respectable record on the AW of late and there were signs last time he was returning to form so off a career low mark, he may go close.
Two-time C&D winner who isn't always the fastest from the gate. Has a significant absence to over come and jockey yet to place in her 16 rides to date. Likely to need the run.
Still a maiden after 15 starts but came close to getting her head in front here last spring. Tailed off on last two starts though and overall profile is patchy enough to pass over in this race.
Shown very little for this yard in five starts to date and flattered by finishing position at Kempton two starts back where they went far too hard up front. Can often starts slowly and plenty of risks attached for a trainer with a near 1% strike rate in the past 12 months.
Forecasts
Cape Spirit (7/4), Scrafton (2/1), Chestnut Storm (13/2), Tingo In The Tale (10/1), Barnacle (16/1), Mighty Missile (16/1), Celestial Dancer (20/1), Fire In Babylon (33/1), Hyperlink (66/1)
The step up in distance should suit TINGO IN THE TALE and he's now operating from a career low mark so if there's ever a day he'll get involved, it could be here. Cape Spirit is still a maiden but he's shown he can be effective around here and there's signs he may break his duck. Jane Elliot has been in flying form of late and she may be able to exploit any weakness in her rivals aboard Mighty Missile, who is likely to be seen to better effective over a longer trip but may be able to run into a place.
1. Tingo In The Tale
2. Cape Spirit
3. Mighty Missile
