Goes very well for this rider, and has won over this trip in the past. Only 2lb higher than when scoring over 6f here earlier this month (beat Palenville who runs earlier) on just his fifth career AW start. Suited by the contours of this track (turf and AW winner at Newcastle) and leading contender despite the drop in trip.
Left previous Southwell efforts well behind when dropped to a Class 6 handicap most recently finishing second (40/1) to Treaty of Rome. A four time winner on turf for Mark Rimell, switches to Tapeta for the first time on just her fourth AW career start.
Southwell regular who finished two places behind Spiraea on his latest start earlier this month, having rounded off the turf campaign with a string of placed efforts. Newcastle (and Tapeta) debut.
Maiden after nine starts, but highly experienced on the AW having raced on five occasions at Dundalk. Interesting visitor to these shores with this stiff 5f promising to be ideal, having seemingly found that trip too sharp at Dundalk last month.
C&D maiden winner in early December (weak race), and held on handicap debut from this mark (over 6f) at Kempton next time. Most likely suited by dropping back to this trip at this track.
Won over this trip at Beverley last summer, and returned from a fair break to finish seventh of 13 on his AW debut over C&D in December. Didn't make the expected progress for that reappearance run next time at Wolverhampton, and a few questions to answer for now.
Raised 4lb to a mark of 60 for last months C&D success (beat Sugar Town by a neck). Generally performs with credit here, and stable are in fair shape since the turn of the year, so not impossible he can follow up despite the rise.
Missed an intended race at Wolverhampton last week (self certified as lame), and has shown little on previous two starts at this track prior to that defection. Drops back to the minimum trip from a falling mark of 60, but needs to do a whole lot more to be involved having not won since January 2016 (over this trip).
Just the sole success in 19 career starts (over 6f at Catterick in October 2015), but consistent in four runs on the AW. Not beaten far at this track in October and November, and ran well when narrowly denied back from a short break over 6f at Wolverhampton last week.
Dual C&D winner in December, but dwelt and pulled hard in the rear when only eighth of 12 behind Windforpower over C&D late last month. Perhaps the hat-trick bid wasn't aided by that slow start, and still early days to say definitively that this revised mark of 59 is too high.
Connections seem to be struggling to find her trip on the AW, and despite running well on her penultimate start (form worked out well), she blew out last time in a small field contest. Could pop up at a fair price from this sort of mark one day.

Plenty of in-form rivals clash with recent course winners Burtonwood and Windforpower meeting Spiraea and Indian Pursuit who have both been fairly narrowly denied victories lately. Burtonwood looks sure to run well from just a 2lb higher mark than when successful at this track over 6f earlier this month, with this drop back in trip unlikely to trouble, and with a good record when partnered by Kieran Schofield. However, KEN'S SAM'S is unexposed at this trip, with this being just her second try over five furlongs. She shaped with promise last time at Dundalk, and this more galloping track looks set to play to her strengths, and she's a most intriguing cross sea raider from Ireland for Adrian Joyce.
