Debut bumper winner on testing ground at Navan last year and has put in some decent efforts in defeat since, not least when looking like hosing up over an extended 3m here last time (heavy) but coming down at the last. Dropped back a mile in trip today, though her form suggests that she can probably handle that and looks a leading player.
Showed signs that she was getting the hang of the game at Down Royal last month, Handles the forecast conditions and it is probable that she can make further progress today.
Quiet on her debut in a bumper here 11 months ago and takes to hurdling for the first time this afternoon. Stable's runners have been running well enough of late and perhaps a market check would be prudent.
Shown little in four starts to date and her stamina-laden pedigree suggests that if she is to win races then it is likely to be over further than this.
Well beaten on all three of her bumper starts. Bags of stamina in her bloodlines and another who is likely to do her best over further than this, though a market check is advised.
Brought along steadily with four bumper runs to date, failing to make the frame, though showing enough promise at Punchestown two starts back to suggest that there is some ability within. Makes her first start over hurdles this time.
Readily taken on on the evidence of a bumper and three hurdles starts so far, in which she has shown precious little.
Irish point-to-point winner in October who was then bought for £15,000 by current connections and ran well enough in her debut bumper for the yard at Newcastle (soft) last month. Given an education over hurdles at Musselburgh last time out and should be able to show a fair bit more today.
Made the frame in a couple of point-to-points but failed to complete on her debut under rules at Carlisle last time and hard to recommend her today.
Reasonable debut effort at Kelso was followed by a slight disappointment next time at Musselburgh. Another with plenty of stamina in her pedigree and whikle she is of more interest now jumping hurdles, she may have better days ahead of her.
Well beaten on all three starts in bumpers, though represents a trainer who is very likely to improve her in this discipline. Even so, would rather see her tackle a race such as this first before getting involved.
Forecasts
Elusive Theatre (1/4), Folly Dat (4/1), Princess Mononoke (13/2), Our Valentina (10/1), Virtually Ours (25/1), Topham Bay (33/1), Kitty Power (50/1), Persian Fashion (66/1), Off The Hook (80/1), Just Brooke (80/1), The Queens Posse (100/1)
A contest thin on quality and the standout pairing are ELUSIVE THEATRE and Princess Mononoke. The former is given the vote after she had spreeadeagled her field here last time before coming down at the last. Even though she is dropped significantly in trip, her form suggests that she will still be tough to beat. Donald McCain's runner have been flying of late and Princess Mononoke can improve on her debut for the yard now sent over obstacles. Folly Dat is another potential improver.
1. Elusive Theatre
2. Princess Mononoke
3. Folly Dat
