Comes here on the back of success in a very similar contest at Lingfield (1m2f) where he beat several in-form runners. 2lb rise looks very fair and has won over 1m4f here from a mark of 96 already, so should be right on the money once again today.
All three wins have been on turf and in Italy, so difficult to equate that form with both this surface and this company on his first AW start. Returns after a break and has not yet won when fresh, so percentage call is to watch how he goes today.
Has won four times on the Flat at trips between 1m4f and an extended 2m, including two here. While stamina is clearly his forte, he did go well over C&D when third, beaten just one length from 1lb higher on Boxing Day, so he could again be in the battle for prize money.
Dropped 3lb after finishing runner-up in a Southwell claimer (1m) last time and after 35 races he is finally stepped up beyond 1m 1f. On the dam's side of his pedigree there is hope that he may benefit from that, though suspicion is that if connections were confident about his ability to see it out they would have tried it long before today.
Beaten two lengths (received 1lb) by Winterlude at Lingfield last time, so now 2lb better off and generally a consistent performer; can be relied upon to give her running and finish closer this time.
6lb higher than his most recent handicap win which came in a decent Chelmsford contest in November. Ran well from this mark when back there next time and does have C&D winning form to his name so no reason why he can't be competitive around here again.
Last four wins have all been over C&D, the most recent from just 1lb lower than today's pitch. Been threatening to get his nose in front in recent races and should be thereabouts from the same mark again.
Former Listed winner over 1m2f who has been winning over 1m4f in recent times. Up 3lb for his victory at Lingfield last time and has to be taken very seriously, although widest draw is a concern.

A very competitive contest for us which means that there could be some value to be had and COILLTE CAILIN is the suggestion. David O'Meara's charge is weighted to go very close with her Lingfield conqueror Winterlude and from a good draw Danny Tudhope may well be able to ride the race to suit. Sennockian Star and Perfect Cracker are most feared of the remainder.
