French import who is 3/4 for this yard so far, and looks progressive. Has to combat higher weight than most here (due to previous successes) but looks to have the potential to do so.
Never out of the first three on all chase starts except when falling in the Betfred Classic here last time. Looks to still be improving despite his old age for a novice. Trip/ground fine.
Unseated rider on chasing debut at Hereford last time but looked to be going well at the time. Decent performer at this level over hurdles and the more the rain that comes, the better.
Had looked promising over fences before pulling up at Hereford last time. Possible he didn't see out the 3m1f on heavy, and could be worth chancing again in a race which is likely to be less of a test.
Has clearly had his problems with two absences from the track of more than a year. Has a chance on his best form but will need to come on for his first run back at Hereford recently. First preference is 16.10 Newbury.
Forecasts
Belami Des Pictons (7/4), Arctic Gold (7/2), Kaki De La Pree (7/2), Dig Deeper (11/2), Kris Spin (6/1), Granit Man (200/1)
KAKI DE LA PREE had looked an absolute picture of consistency on every start over fences until falling at Warwick last time. He looks an improving type despite his old age, and if showing no ill effects from that fall should prove hard to beat here. Belami Des Pictons has obvious claims given his impressive strike rate for Venetia Williams so far, while Dig Deeper should also run his race if coming back from a disappointing performance at Hereford last time out.
1. Kaki De La Pree
2. Belami Des Pictons
3. Dig Deeper
