Has found this Grade to be too tough the last twice, falling once when well beaten and pulling up last time behind O O Seven. This is a weaker race than either of those, but he is entitled to find one or two of these too good once again.
Runner-up over C&D two starts ago before going close in another lower-grade novice chase last time. This rates a big step up for him but he looks an improving type and will love the forecast ground.
Has been on the premises in all three starts over fences so far and just didn't last home in a handicap at Newbury last time. Will need to improve but isn't discounted in what is a relatively weak Grade 2.
Got off the mark over fences in impressive style last time over C&D having been in behind some useful types on previous two starts, including leading JLT hope Top Notch. Should go well again here for some top connections.
Beaten favourite at odds of 1/6 at Catterick last time. Didn't really settle in that race but doesn't have any other excuses and will need to overcome that disappointing effort today.
Hasn't gotten involved in the finish of any of his three chases and has it all to do at this level.
Forecasts
Gino Trail (15/8), Overtown Express (5/2), Flying Angel (7/2), Knockgraffon (6/1), Two Taffs (10/1), Chic Name (40/1)
This is a decidedly weak Grade 2 and as such may not take much winning. Having been consistent over fences so far and being a runner-up over C&D, GINO TRAIL looks the one to be with. He looks to be improving and the soft ground will be a big bonus for a horse who would be conceding weight all round if this were a handicap. Two Taffs' run last time when firmly beaten as a 1/6 favourite was surely too bad to be true, while Knockgraffon has also acquitted himself well over fences so far.
1. Gino Trail
2. Two Taffs
3. Knockgraffon
