Won both starts in point-to-points and landed maiden hurdle at Market Rasen in November. Run to similar level of form in defeat since, finishing fourth in Grade 2 company at Warwick last month. Holds strong claims.
Won only point-to-point start and made winning debut for this yard in Fontwell maiden hurdle. Well beaten next time but that was in Grade 1 Challow Hurdle. Better expected today.
Winner of a point-to-point and a bumper. Kept on well into fourth behind useful Bags Groove at Taunton on hurdles debut. Each-way claims.
Point-to-point winner and good level of form in bumpers, scoring at Huntingdon on Boxing Day. Fair third at Ludlow on hurdles debut but more needed in this tougher race.
Well beaten at Chepstow on hurdling debut and showed little at Fakenham next time. Difficult to see him playing a leading role.
Won a point-to-point last spring. Pulled up when 40-1 for hurdles debut at Fontwell in November. Can't be seriously considered in this company.
Pulled up in seller when last running over hurdles but has improved on AW since, winning two of last three. Could go well at likely decent odds.
Pulled up or tailed off in three previous runs over hurdles. very difficult to make a case for but yard have returned to form.
Failed to shine in two bumpers and well beaten on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in December. Needs to show a lot more.
Point-to-point winner in the spring. Modest late work both starts over hurdles and likely to find a few rivals too speedy.
Forecasts
Get On The Yager (10/11), Peak To Peak (4/1), Agamemmon (9/2), Ballymountain Boy (13/2), Silent Steps (12/1), Flower Ball (50/1), Paladin (66/1), Sidbury Fair (66/1), Kilinakin (100/1), Rapanui (150/1)
This looks a strong race with several top yards represented. Peak To Peak has already contested a Grade 1 contest over hurdles and, though well beaten that day, remains an interesting prospect. Agamemmon showed plenty of promise behind a useful sort at Taunton on his hurdles debut and should also go well. However, GET ON THE YAGER, fourth in a Grade 2 hurdle at Warwick last time, looks the one to beat.
1. Get On The Yager
2. Peak To Peak
3. Agamemmon
