Race fell into his lap at Doncaster last time but this fair sort might improve for today's step up in trip. Stable in form but has to concede 3lb to his rivals in a tight race. Wouldn't want much more rain.
No slouch over hurdles but disappointing when pulled up over timber on seasonal return. Ability to handle fences remains to be seen but the softer the ground the better for this mud lover. Current form is open to question though.
Best of these over hurdles and hasn't done badly in three tries novice chasing to date. Came up against a good horse at Lingfield last time and a smilar level of form might just be enough today to break his duck over fences.
Won three times over hurdles for Jonjo O'Neill and has first start today for new connections. Didn't impress however in three tries over fences for previous yard and might find today's company plenty hot enough. Others make more appeal.

In a fascinating novice chase LABEL DES OBEAUX is given the nod on the strength of a solid effort behind a useful winner at Lingfield last time out. He handles give in the ground and may prevail as long as the race doesn't become too tactical and turn into a sprint. Querry Horse will be suited by the longer trip here and is a genuine threat to the selection, while Hit The Highway can't be ruled out on his chasing bow despite disappointing over timber last time. Optimistic Bias appears to have a tough task.
