C&D winner who won at Southwell a week ago and looks to be a key player on that evidence if able to overcome a penalty.
Only win so far was on turf, but shaped well on first run on Tapeta over C&D back in December. Improvement needed, but one of the likelier winners.
Never been placed in six AW races and no reason to think that's about to change, a return to this trip is just about the only positive.
Last time's second over C&D was much more like it, but will need to improve again to win this. Very possible though, given how lightly raced he is.
Dual-purpose performer who has run well here in the past without ever getting his head in front. Back on a winning mark but others still look to have a better chance.
Only win came at Kempton in September 2015, but has come close on numerous occasions since, and has proven herself particularly effective on this surface.
Never finished in the first two in 11 AW starts and finished out the picture in all three races here so far. Looks unappealing off this mark.
Seven race maiden returning after a 212 day break during which he's been gelded. Much improvement needed in first time blinkers.
Will need to return to her very best form from two years ago, (all over 6f on turf), in order to prove competitive here.
Seems to have lost her way after a long time off at the end of last year. Won over C&D just over a year ago though, and that must be factored in to calculations.
Not disgraced in two appearances over C&D so far, a definite player if coming on for those runs with the assistance of a top AW jockey for the first time and cheekpieces on.
Came closest in a C&D maiden two starts ago, but seems some way behind even the weaker ones of these on their best form.
Has put in two solid performances over C&D the last twice. Steps up in class here but seems to be going the right way having finally gotten off the mark after 29 attempts.

CANFORD BELLE has only won once, at Kempton around 18 months ago, but she has proven herself on Tapeta, coming close on more than one occasion, and looks to be one of the better handicapped horses in the race. She can see off the efforts of Simply Clever, who could have plenty of improvement in him, and Schottische, a major player if overcoming a penalty for his Southwell win last week and able to transfer that form to this surface.
