0/14 on the AW so far, but that gives a slightly unfair impression of how close he's come in some of his recent races. Has looked slightly more at home over 5f than 6f but has a decent chance, especially if first time headgear does the trick.
Course winner who steps down to 6f for the first time since July 2015. Hasn't necessarily been crying out for that change, but has slipped down the handicap to a workable mark and had decent place chances.
Form figures of 21228 here and finished a close-up fourth at Lingfield last time. Big chance if able to rediscover the best of last year's form.
1/18 overall but has finished within 3L of the winner on all of his most recent six starts. Feels like he should be capable of crossing the line in front soon.
One win and two places from four starts show that he goes well round here, and has recently given the impression this step back up in trip should suit.
Only two wins from 40 starts came consecutively back in 2012, and recent starts have seen him well beaten on every occasion. Would need to return to the form of his much younger days to be involved here.
C&D winners but has shown little to get excited about on recent starts. Apprentice jockey claims 7lb, but much more will be needed here.
0/17 and has a break since August to overcome. Has come close in the past in some tougher races than this, including when beaten a neck in a Chelmsford maiden, but others have better chances under these conditions.
11 race maiden who looks to have it all to do to after 208 days off. Has put in probably her strongest performance on only previous start here, however.
Dual C&D winner who makes his 119th start today, but has struggled recently and looks up against it in what should be a more competitive race than when he was 7th at Lingfield last time.
Showed very little when well beaten in three turf maidens last year. Makes handicap debut today off an accordingly lowly mark, but the first time tongue strap will have to work wonders.
14 race maiden who has never been within 5L of a winner and has massive amounts to find to be competitive here.

Forecasts
Jack The Laird (5/2), Indian Pursuit (10/3), Strictly Carter (9/1), Cruise Tothelimit (9/1), Binky Blue (10/1), Very First Blade (10/1), Angelito (11/1), Excellent Aim (12/1), Hellarious (18/1), Diamond Vine (20/1), Kingstreet Lady (25/1), Mighty Zip (25/1), Rubheira (150/1)
JACK THE LAIRD possesses some of the best form on offer here and should be able to get the job done here if returning to his best form from the summer, especially given his liking for this course. He is just preferred to Indian Pursuit, who has been unlucky to only record one win so far, and Excellent Aim, who should go well back down in trip.
1. Jack The Laird
2. Indian Pursuit
3. Excellent Aim
