Been highly tried by connections, finishing runner-up in a couple of Grade Twos this season and very competitive in such circles. Has to give weight away all around as a result, but likely to run his race now switched back to this sort of company.

Loves to get his toe in and was a soft ground Wincanton winner last time (2m 5.5f, soft) last time. Officially he has gone up 15lb for that, making him best in at the weights here and the way he scored that day he looks like he will take plenty of beating.

Well beaten on sole start in a bumper and intereting that top yard has decided to switch straight to hurdling. Tough task at her first attempt against some of these, though bred to come into his own over this longer trip and any market vibes will be interesting.

Point-to-point runner-up who made the frame on her Uttoxeter bumper outing and now starts over timber. This looks a good starting point with regard to trip and he will be learning all the time, so further progress is anticipated.

Returns here after an absence of well over two years. Given that he didn't set the world alight previously it is interesting that connections have persevered, so may be able to show some ability eventually. Hard to fancy today.
Towcester bumper winner in May (good) who made a nice enough start over hurdles at Hereford (2m 3.5f, soft) last month. Can continue his improvement here, although that is far from certain to be good enough to win.

Not a huge amount of encouragement from three bumper runs for this hurdling debutant, whose pedigree suggests that he might stay this far. Need to see more from him though before he can be recommended.

100/1
Well beaten on all starts under rules and this looks far to hot for him.

Forecasts

Catamaran Du Seuil (4/9), Skipthecuddles (3/1), Mirsaale (5/1), Rock My Style (10/1), Global Ruler (25/1), Shanty Town (50/1), Skywards Reward (66/1), The Junior Man (100/1)

Verdict

Whatever the outcome here it will be a case of having the notebook at the ready, though for today we will side with CATAMARAN DU SEUIL to uphold the impression that he left when an easy winner at Wincanton last time. Mirsaale would be a threat if returning to form, while Global Ruler and Rock My Style are others likely to be in the shake-up. 1. Catamaran Du Seuil 2. Mirsaale 3. Global Ruler
