Very interesting on her first start for new trainer who does well at this track. Won at 2m 2f on ground described as very soft in France and ran with credit there on three other occasions. Carries a penalty for that success but should likely to put up a bold showing.
Disappointing when a beaten odds-on favourite a Lingfield during the week and couldn't really blame conditions there as had already won on heavy. Nonetheless, she has some smart enough form on her CV in the context of this race and should be thereabouts again.
Won twice on the Flat at up to 11.5f, both being with some cut in the ground. Makes her hurdling debut here from a yard that does well with its mares. Likely to be well prepared and her chance is very much respected.
Sole start in a bumper offered little encouragement that she would be winning soon and best watched on her hurdles debut.
Steady start to her career in bumpers and over hurdles. Connections will be hoping for some improvement for her Hexham introduction in December. Likely to do better over further in time.
Rated 93 on the Flat after one win and a couple of placed efforts in Listed company. Trainer clearly looks to have something to work with, although the switch to hurdling has not brought immediate gains. Respected nonetheless.
Musselburgh success in November was on good ground and ran well in defeat at Catterick again last time. No surprise to see her male a bold bid with little racing weight to carry.
Barely a flicker of hope based on what she has shown us on the Flat (rated 41) and not difficult to oppose on her first run over hurdles.
Forecasts
Tearsofclewbay (6/4), Golden Vision (7/4), Vive Ma Fille (5/1), All My Love (8/1), Becky The Thatcher (14/1), Squablin (33/1), Malpreedy (150/1), Bahrikate (200/1)
If Mick Channon's Vive Ma Fille hits her straps then she is likely to go close here, though getting involved with her clearly carries its risks and we would prefer to side with GOLDEN VISION to win on her British debut, while Tearsofclewbay is respected and All My Love could also be thereabouts at the business end.
1. Golden Vision
2. Vive Ma Fille
3. Tearsofclewbay
