Clearly well suited to the Fibresand at Southwell having run consistently well there in four starts last month. A 6f winner off a 6lb lower mark three starts back, she again ran well over an inadequate 5f on her latest outing. Effectively only 1lb higher than when winning with tonight's riders claim taken into account, she must go well if proving as effective at this track (has won on Tapeta at Wolverhampton).
Dual course winner, but both of those victories have come over 5f, and is now 2lb higher than for the latest of those victories last month. Goes well for this rider and loves this track, but slightly vulnerable over 6f.
Started her career really well with a nice debut run and then a win from Catchment on Kempton's AW in October 2015. Life in handicaps hasn't been so easy, but she's dropped 15lb since June 2016, and wasn't beaten too far when fourth at Wolverhampton early last month. A good run from Bint Arcano (7.45pm) will be a positive for her previous form.
C&D winner in August 2016 who returned from a short break to run a mighty race over the minimum trip at this track behind Windforpower last weekend (kept on). Raised 3lb for that run, but this step back up in trip can be a plus if Nathan Evans can post the right fractions off the front end. Stable in decent form.
Has raced between 5f and 7f in her last six starts which have all come at this track. Slowly into stride last time over this trip, she was staying on strongly from well off the pace to finish fifth to First Excel (with subsequent winners Pushkin Museum third and Windforpower seventh).

Veena (5/2), Poppy In The Wind (5/2), Englishwoman (3/1), Sugar Town (9/2), Semana Santa (7/1), Thorntoun Lady (9/1)
Thorntoun Lady is a perennial eye-catcher and there's a real danger that you could follow her religiously to your financial detriment, but her mark of 58 is becoming appealing and Nicky Mackay is a good booking. Englishwoman could be found wanting away from Southwell, as could 5f specialist Poppy In The Wind, so a narrow vote goes to SUGAR TOWN, who can go well despite a 3lb higher mark assuming her jockey can get the fractions right off the front end in this small field contest.
1. Sugar Town
2. Thorntoun Lady
3. Poppy In The Wind
