Dual French Flat winner who scraped home at Catterick on his hurdling debut before following up in more convincing fashion at Kempton next time. Holds a Triumph Hurdle entry, obvious claims.
Flat winner for Michael Bell who shaped nicely on hurdling bow before making hard work of landing the odds in a much weaker race here in December. Another Triumph Hurdle entry, hard to dismiss.
Looked a tidy prospect when rattling off a quick three-timer in juvenile hurdles earlier this season but found out by a step up in grade since, pulling up in a handicap last time. Returns to juvenile company here but still up against it.
Three-time Flat winner who has taken well to timber, showing a decisive turn of foot to win successive races over this C&D, most recently against older horses. Worthy of Triumph Hurdle entry, strong hat-trick claims.
Useful on the Flat for Mark Johnston and looks a potentially smart recruit to hurdles. Holds a Triumph Hurdle entry and couldn't be in better hands, but not the easiest of introductions.
Flat winner who was sent off favourite when second behind Project Bluebook here on his third hurdling start. Hard to see him reversing that form after a lacklustre effort in Ireland last time.
The fact that Nicky Henderson could have opted for far easier pickings for hurdling debutant SOLDIER IN ACTION is perhaps a tip in itself and, providing the market vibes are positive, the 105-rated Flat performer could take some stopping en route to a possible Triumph Hurdle tilt. Project Bluebook and Fidux also have that race in their sights and both are entitled to the utmost respect after impressive victories last time out.
