Running well of late on a variety of surfaces and a good second last time out over 6f in a Southwell handicap. Has won over 7f and beyond so trip holds no fears but does have to concede weight all round.
Capable handicapper who was lightly-raced last year over sprint trips. Back after a break last time out over C&D with a creditable third, although not showing enough to think he was back to his best.
Winner of a claimer last year at Wolverhampton over an extended 7f in September. Bit disappointing last time out on first outing for this yard but did hang badly and may have a little to prove here.
Versatile sort on the AW and won in handicap company at Southwell in December over 6f. Back to something like that form at Newcastle last time out when runner-up over 7f and possibly suited by the step back to 6f in this event.
Has run well in handicaps in the past and capable of holding his own in claiming company (won two such events last year). Not disgraced at Wolverhampton last time out in a race that has produced subsequent winners.
In good form last season with wins at Carlisle and Hamilton (both handicaps) and a claimer at Chelmsford. Didn't look at his best in a claimer last time out at this course and missed out on a good opportunity; good chance if bouncing back to his best here.
Not seen since running in first-time blinkers in a Catterick 5f handicap on heavy ground in October. This will be a totally different test and often blights her chance with a slow start.
A useful performer on his best form but very lightly raced of late and only had one run in 2016. Back from a five month break last time out when fourth at Chelmsford in a mile claimer on first run for this yard and can look less than straightforward.
Won a handicap at Lingfield over a mile on his penultimate start over a mile off a mark of 63. Ran well below that form at Kempton next time out, although, he may appreciate a move back to this company on a track that he's been successful around.
Dropped in grade last time out after a break at Chelmsford over a mile but based on that he needs to show more to win here.
