Record over fences isn't the most inspiring and has been struggling over hurdles of late, though would be on a decent mark if it at his best.
Has been running in some excruciatingly tough big-field handicaps of late, this should prove a welcome relief for what is essentially a smart performer.
Has plenty of ability but cannot be relied on to show it regularly, pulled up when last seen and rating suggests even a career-best effort might not get him home in front.
Game scorer over hurdles at Limerick's Christmas festival, has a decent record over these obstacles too but might just find Clarcam too good.

CLARCAM is the classiest of these on paper and he'll surely relish this small-field event where conditions are in his favour having run with credit in some hot handicaps last month. Val De Ferbet has enough ability to ensure the selection won't get away with a below-par effort if he is going to prevail. Upazo has talent but often forgets to bring it to the racecourse while Archie Meade hasn't put his best foot forward in quite a while.
