Three time winner in this sphere last season and put up a cracking performance when finishing runner-up on his return to action at Taunton last month. The drop in trip here should suit and he looks likely to put in another solid effort.
Lost his way since successful on heavy ground over hurdles at Navan for previous yard 12 months ago. Makes his debut for a local trainer here.
Winner of a similar race to this at Southwell, pulled up in a point-to-point at Chaddesley Corbett on his return to action in december and well beaten at Warwick last month so best watched at present.
Four time chase winner in the past including over this trip at Southwell in November 2015, ground should suit and he's an interesting runner for his local trainer.
Winner at Ludlow on his penultimate outing, disappointed since and the blinkers he's worn on his last three starts have been left off today. Probably best watched at present.
Winner of a point-to-point in his youth but best rules form has come over the minimum trip, weakened quickly when finishing fourth in a point-to-point on his most recent outing in early december and this trip looks likely to test his stamina.
Successful seven times in point-to-points but last success was back in February 2014 and he looks likely to struggle in this company.
Finished fourth at Taunton last month on his seasonal debut in a hunter chase last month. He's held by both Grandioso and Lord Ben on that running and the drop back in trip looks unlikely to suit also.
Modest form over obstacles and only successes have come on Southwell's fibresand surface on the Flat. Looks out of his depth in this.
Dual point-to-point winner last season but well beaten in a hunter chase at Cheltenham when last seen out in april, this looks a stronger race and this front runner looks set to struggle here.
Maiden point-to-point winner last season and runner-up in a bumper subsequently. Winner at Black Forest Lodge earlier this season but beaten twice since and upped in grade here.

GRANDIOSO can follow up his solid effort at Taunton last month by registering another hunter chase success here. The drop down in trip should suit the ten year old with his trainer having an excellent record in these races and he is taken to get the better of the Taunton third Lord Ben and the classy Pacha Du Polder in this.
1. Grandioso
2. Lord Ben
3. Pacha Du Polder
