Three wins from nine runs here, two over C&D. Has taken to chasing well and looks like a natural over larger obstacles but has a bit on at the weights to be involved for win purposes.
Grade 2 hurdle winner that won well at Wetherby two starts back in a small field. In at the deep end last time but sets a clear form standard here and likely to take all the beating.
Wears both tounge-tie and visor. 146 rated hurdler at best in 2013, but down to 128 when taking a 3m beginners chase on his fourth start over fences at Ffos Las in November. Ran with credit when fourth on novices handicap debut last time at Chepstow and starting to jump better than before so should hold a place chance.
Not seen since winning a maiden point-to-point in 2015 and bought for £28,000 shortly after that. That level of form not likely to be good enough to play a part in this and trainer not been in great form with his chasers recently.
Not beaten many home on four starts to date including when tailed off for this yard the last twice. No signs he has the ability to mix it with some of these.
Forecasts
Its'afreebee (4/6), Pearl Swan (15/8), Cusheen Bridge (8/1), Jack In A Box (50/1), What's Up Rory (150/1), Thefriendlygremlin (200/1)
ITS'AFREEBEE looks difficult to oppose and sets a clear form standard for the rest to aim at, with an official mark of 144. Cusheen Bridge has some good form at this course that reads well in the context of this race and looks the main danger to Dan Skelton's charge. Pearl Swan is proven over further than this and should make this a good test of stamina.
