Two bumpers runs in September(soft) and October (good to firm), showing promise on both occasions. Been given a break since making the frame at Ludlow in the latter contest and if handling this surface there is no reason why she can't be in the shake-up once again.
Shown little promise in both point-to-points and a bumper so far and need to see much more before she can be recommended.
Last of eight on her Plumpton debut in November. Will hopefully have learned plenty there and one of yard's only two recent runners went close, so there is genuine hope of an improved effort today.
Third in a soft ground Hereford mares' bumper in December and if handling this surface she should be able to build on that here. Yard does quite well here and she is one of the more likely ones in the field.
Well beaten in two Huntingdon bumpers and expecting a lot for her to blossom today on what we have seen.
Beaten 64 lengths in a similar contest at Bangor on debut. Yard had a winner with its only recent runner, so significant improvement for that first run is not out of the question if handling the surface.
Failed to shine in the sales ring, though has given cause for some optimism in two mares' bumpers so far, particularly the second time at Bangor. She will strip fitter for that and with a useful claim to reduce the burden, she won't be far away.
Point-to-point winner (good ground) who went well for a long way on her rules debut at Ffos Las (soft). This sort of surface may suit and she looks shortlist material.
By a very good jumps sire out of an unraced King's Theatre mare, though cost just £800. Interesting to see how she fares on debut, though probably best watched today.
Ran well in a similar contest to be fourth of 11 over C&D in November on her second start. Champion jockey booked for the ride, suggesting that she won't be far away.
Somewhat surprising to see that this is the trainer's first bumper runner at the track in over five seasons as he has a good record here in general. Certainly appears to have a decent pedigree and has the age allowance. Best advice is to check the market for a clearer guide to her chance.
Probably improved from her first run at Huntingdon to her second at Wetherby, when she was not discgraced to be just over four lengths in arrears of a well-backed favourite who has already won and subsequently went very close again. Found out in Listed company last time, but not discounted now back at this level.
Last of seven, beaten 24 lengths on her debut over 1m5f at Exeter in October and needs to improve significantly to take a hand today.
£15,000 purchase whose pedigree suggests that she will be better over further than this. Yard's runners not going too badly but would be a surprise winner.
Forecasts
Polly's Pursuit (5/2), Tangley (9/2), Tiar Na Nog (5/1), Athy River (6/1), Jubilympics (7/1), Sweeping Beauty (10/1), Lady Vitesse (12/1), Looe Bay (16/1), Huntress (25/1), Wrong Impression (25/1), Thechampagnesonice (33/1), Mary My Secret (50/1), Theatre Royale (50/1), Civitesses (100/1)
Nicky Henderson-trained Polly's Pursuit is steadily going the right way and it would be no surprise to see her break her duck, though we will side with JUBILYMPICS. Seamus Mullins sends out his fair share of winners at this track and this mare ran well enough at Hereford. Like most of these, she has to prove that she will handle this surface, but with a 10lb claim giving her a feather weight to carry we will take the chance. Tangley and Tiar Na Nog are others for the shortlist.
1. Jubilympics
2. Polly's Pursuit
3. Tangley
