Goes well at this course and has strong claims on the pick of his recent efforts. Potentially well treaded from 4lb below his last winning mark and can never be ruled out at his beloved Fontwell.
Capable on his day but has dropped in the ratings after a string of poor efforts. Others hold a more consistent profile and he may need more assistance from the handicapper just now. All that said, this is a weak heat and he cannot be ruled out of making the frame if others fail to shine.
Freshened up with an outing over hurdles at Wincanton, which will have helped banish the memory of his fall at Plumpton last month. He is of modest ability but is another that can pick up the scraps if others have an off-day.
Lost his way a touch in recent time and looks one to be wary of as he makes a belated seasonal debut.
Well treated just now but his recent form has been a little hit or miss; he is capable of figuring strongly in a weak heat such as this but would never be one in whom to place maximum faith.
Finished a very respectable second on his return to action at Hereford at the start of this month; he was, however, a tad one-paced near the finish and the veteran of the field needs to prove that effort didn't take too much out of him after a long absence.
Another with a patchy recent record and, while she has won off a 3lb higher mark in the past, she is not the most consistent individual to have ever made the racecourse. Recent form suggests she will need a lot of persuasion to put her best foot forward this afternoon.
Readily brushed aside in his two outings since returning from a spell on the sidelines, which offer very little in terms of promise. He is, however, on a featherweight just now so may enjoy the outing if the visor rekindles his interest.
Needs to conclusively prove he still has an interest in racing and isn't simply on the downgrade and making up the number; very difficult to put him the frame for any betting plans.

This track brings the best out of VENETIAN LAD and he will rarely be presented with a better opportunity to carry topweight to victory. Consistency isn’t at a premium amongst the rest, but Tikkapick and Capilla have bits and bobs of form which say they can figure at this level and can have their own personal battle as the best of the rest. The veteran Free World is also likely to have his supporters but his days of finding improvement are behind hi at the age of thirteen, so he looks too risky to nominate for win only purposes.
