Not disgraced when third behind Yala Enki at Haydock last time having disappointed the time before at Fontwell. Must defy top weight and hasn't won since December 2014, but would seem to have conditions mostly in her favour.
French import who makes her British debut today. Difficult to gauge the quality of her previous form but looks at least a decent mare who ought to run well if coming back okay after a break.
Two time winner as a novice hurdler who makes her first start over fences today. Mark remains unchanged from when soundly beaten at Wetherby earlier in the month, but the softer ground should help and she is a former course winner. Definite player.
Decent novice hurdler but was well beaten when fancied on switch to fences. Looked outpaced that day though and the step up in trip should help, along with the forecast soft ground. Cheekpieces applied for the first time.
Got off the mark over fences at the first attempt but has struggled in open company since. Back in a novice event today with the handicap mark gradually working its way back down, but this is probably her toughest task yet.
Seemed to be travelling well when falling last time, and that followed a series of disappointing runs. This is tougher, however, though the trip and ground should be okay and she runs in first time cheekpieces.
Forecasts
Kayfleur (2/1), Midnight Silver (7/2), Plaisir D'Amour (4/1), Lilly Of The Moor (11/2), Timon's Tara (7/1), My Little Cracker (9/1)
MIDNIGHT SILVER makes her chase debut here after a decent novice hurdle campaign where she showed her appreciation for both Uttoxeter and some dig in the ground. She can be the one to see the rest of these off as long as she enjoys the new obstacles. Plalslr D'amour is an interesting newcomer for Venetia Williams who could be right there if not needing the run after some time off, while Kayfleur has been running some nice races behind highly rated rivals.
1. Midnight Silver
2. Plaisir D'amour
3. Kayfleur
